They say anything could jus probable walk into your life and teach you some lessons that you will carry forward to eternity. For some it was humans in the form of relationships, money for a few, jobs and work for others, and books and experiences for the rest. But for me, it was the game of Chess. No institution, school or college has ever taught me things that I learnt from playing the game. Playing either alone or with an opponent, there have been innumerable epiphanies over matches and I made sure I wrote them down and interpreted them in a way that would help me evolve as a player and as a person.

Pradeep Sagar secures 1st place in the <1100 Category of the RWF Chess Tournament
Pradeep Sagar secures 1st place in the <1100 Category and 82nd place overall in the RWF FIDE Rated Chess Tournament scoring 6/9 points with only a single loss. Pradeep has also secured a new FIDE Rating for himself with this accomplishment - ending with a performance rating of 1564. There were a total of 610 participants that played this tournament, held in Bangalore. It was a great exposure to many of our students who accompanied our Pradeep in the tournament.

Samuel Mendonca, student from Mind Mentorz Chess academy, Bangalore, has successfully obtained his first FIDE Rapid Rating of 1241 and also secured a Chess Title for him as Arena Candidate Master on Online FIDE Arena. At the outset, it has been a remarkable achievement for Samuel who has worked very hard to deserve this rating.
Sankha Gosh places 4th in the Children's Chess Tournament held in Bangalore
Congratulations to Sankha Gosh from Mind Mentorz, for placing 4th in the Children's Chess Tournament (U-12 Category). Sankha concluded the tournament with a nearly perfect score, having only 1 loss in the whole tournament. He managed to beat two FIDE Rated players this time during the tournament, which is a huge milestone crossed for Sankha.
