What are the benefits of chess?
Chess is a game of pure intellect, focus, and wits, in which the players win or lose solely depending on their own performance. Chess teaches the students to become more resilient and not be discouraged when they lose. The students recognize that they learn from their mistakes and often see losses as a way of learning from it and get motivated to do better. The bottom line is: Chess teaches life skills that can be used by anybody is any walk of life!
How does Mind Mentorz conduct chess classes?
Our classes are primarily conducted over a 2 hour session, wherein 1 hour is a lecture that is done visually on a TV and 1 hour of pure gameplay practice is conducted. We have in-house FIDE rated coaches that give you a perfect combination of interactive lecture & gameplay analysis to lift up ones chess skills in minimal time! We don't guarantee you a Grandmaster title, but we do guarantee that you will leave our center with much better chess playing skills & knowledge than when you first walked in!
Do you provide students with boards and other chess equipment?
We provide our students with all necessary equipment including chess sets, chess books, chess pieces, demonstration tools, and also online access to chesskid.com & chess.com
Can I take classes online?
Indeed we do conduct one-on-one classes online via Skype. Hence if you are not based out of Bangalore and would like to learn from Mind Mentorz please do contact us and we will be glad to set you up for a private coaching online.
Apart from chess what else does Mind Mentorz offer?
Mind Mentorz specializes in teaching the solving of various types of Rubix cubes, visual coding programs which include training on the Inveno platform & Scratch Coding, and introduction to the world of Robotics using the Lego Mindstorm EV3 kit.
Can paid fees be refunded?
The refund policy applies to chess coaching services:
1. Within 7 days you may request a refund on the full payment.
2. After 7 days no amount is refundable.
3. For add on products and services no refund policy applies.
