Two students of Mind Mentorz become FIDE rated chess players

Aman Thomas George and Vandana Srinivas Babu, students of Mind Mentorz an institute providing Chess Coaching in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, has become FIDE rated chess players after the recent BRDCA (Bangalore Rural District Chess Association) tournament. While Vandana has secured a rating of 1147, Aman secured a rating of 1107.

So, how long does it take to become a grandmaster?

These two young champions have been training under one of the best FIDE rated Chess Trainers in Bangalore, Praveen Sagar, who is an AGM (Arena Grand Master) in Bangalore for more than 2 years.

Vandana who wanted to become a chess player after being very passionate about the game, has been trying for her FIDE rating the during the past one year and has now successfully earned it.

Aman has been playing and practising the game regularly but struggled beating a rated opponent until this time, where he managed to successfully climb up the ladder and earning the well deserving victories against tougher opponents.

We at Mind Mentorz congratulate both our students and wish them the very best for all their future Chess competitions in Bangalore and elsewhere to become Grandmasters.

For those of you wondering how to become a Grandmaster?, we are beginning our Chess Summer Camp Coaching in Bangalore, Kalyan Nagar branch from 2nd April, 2018.
